We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long\-Range Assault Aircraft \(FLRAA\) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift \(FVL\) modernization effort\. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High\-Speed Vertical Take\-Off and Landing \(HSVTOL\) program, a next generation stop\-fold aircraft\.

**Non\-Metallic Materials & Processes Engineering**
Bring your experience and ideas and help us optimize the usage of non\-metallic materials and processes for rotorcraft applications on commercial and military programs\. You'll work with Design Teams, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure materials and process requirements are successfully implemented\. You'll be able to make an impact by resolving materials issues; and developing improved materials and process methods\. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities, while gaining experience in leadership and communication\. **What you'll be doing as a Non\-Metallic Materials & Processes Principal Engineer**
Provide non\-metallic materials & process guidance to Design and Manufacturing teams during all phases of product development, Design, Test, Production, and Sustainment\.Influence and guide material selection through collaboration with Integrated Product Teams\.Develop and evaluate new and improved materials and process methods, including the creation and execution of test plans, test reports, and development and maintenance of material and process specifications\.Collaborate with Supply Chain & Manufacturing organizations to resolve manufacturing issues, and perform on\-site technical assessments of suppliers\.
**Qualifications**
**Skills You Bring To this Role**
Experience and knowledge related to non\-metallic materials and processing of polymer matrix composites and structural bonding utilizing epoxy resin based materials with carbon and glass fiber reinforcements is required\.Ability to prioritize work, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a team player mindset\.Excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers\.
**What you need to be successful**
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or other materials focused engineering degree\. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered\.10 years experience minimum in a materials and process role, preferably in the aerospace industry\.
