We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber to join our dedicated team in Camden. You’ll be an integral part of a diverse and experienced multi-disciplinary team, which includes skilled managers, specialist doctors, compassionate nurses, committed recovery workers, and inspiring peer mentors and volunteers.

 

In this role, you will be working from CGL services in Camden Town & Kilburn, and delivering prescribing satellites from a range of Camden Adult Pathway Hostels. You will bring experience in working sensitively and respectfully with adults who have complex, co-occurring needs, including those with recent experiences of rough sleeping.

 

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week 

Full Time Salary Range: £47,792.23 - £53,329.99 (pro rata for part time roles) 

Allowance: £4,133.14 Inner London Weighting (pro rata for part time roles)

Contract: 12 months fixed term contract from start date

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

As an NMP, you’ll play a key role in delivering recovery-focused alcohol and drug intervention services. This includes:

Assessing and treating service users: Offering care tailored to their needs, prescribing or adjusting opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.Developing the prescribing clinic: Acting as a go-to expert for colleagues and partner agencies on prescribing matters.Supporting people on their recovery journey: Ensuring a compassionate and professional approach to help service users achieve their goals.

 

What We’re Looking For

A qualified and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber.Someone passionate about making a positive impact.A team player with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.A professional who is eager to support individuals in their recovery, promoting hope and empowerment.At least one year’s relevant and recent experience of working within substance misuse treatmentSound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventionsAbility to assess and recovery plan service users and formulate written reports as necessaryAbility to communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writingExperience working sensitively with adults who have co-occurring needs, including a recent history of rough sleeping
