Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Inspector specializing in Ultrasonic Testing (A-Scan and Thickness) to support aerospace production operations. In this role, you’ll utilize advanced NDI techniques to evaluate materials and components without causing damage, ensuring compliance with customer engineering specifications and quality standards.
Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) using A-Scan and thickness measurement methods.Set up and standardize NDI equipment; process parts and evaluate test results.Interpret codes, standards, and customer specifications governing NDT methods.Determine acceptance or rejection of components based on engineering requirements.Document inspection results and maintain detailed reports.Provide technical guidance to trainees and assist with their development.Conduct audit surveillance on NDI processes and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances.Ensure technical adequacy of procedures and work instructions.Maintain equipment and support the overall readiness of the NDT facility.QualificationsCurrent NAS-410 CertificationDocumented Level I & Level II UT training + 800 hours of UT experience (Signed by Level III; must be submitted before candidate is considered)Experience working with graphite composites in aerospace applicationsAbility to work 2nd shift and pass required testing during the onboarding periodMust be prepared to take a General Exam on Day 1, followed by a Specific and Practical Exam in the first weekAdditional Info:
