AS NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATION TECHNICIAN YOU WILL:
• Accomplish specific goals to address Safety, Delivery, Quality, Cost of Operations, and Training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment in accord with company policies.
• Produce quality products and eliminate the cost of non-conformance.
• Continuously improve performance by implementing lean initiatives such as waste elimination, kanbans, pull production, continuous flow, 6-S and TPM.
• Troubleshoot problems in the product and resolve product and manufacturing process problems as needed, utilizing resources (Engineering, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Marketing, etc.) as necessary.
• Cross-train on other jobs to prevent lapses in production flow. This includes machining, assembly, deburring, stockroom, trucking, inspection, etc.
• Obtain and maintain all required certifications including qualification and testing in accordance with FMP2J1.
• Perform other job assignments as needed to maintain efficient operation or as supervisory personnel direct.

Producing products in accordance with Fisher Quality Standards and to strive for continuous improvement in operating as a profitable, effective, safety-conscious business to satisfy customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Must display natural or corrected vision of 20/22 with both eyes and normal color perception. Must be capable of reading a minimum of Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches on a standard Jaeger test chart.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Understand and relate proper measurement techniques and sequences as well as working knowledge of reading and interpretation of Geometrically Dimensioned Drawings (GD&T).
• Experience performing non-destructive examination methods.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
