Our client is bidding for work on the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line 5): Southern Route, and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Noise and Vibration Specialist.
The Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Investment Project (Line-5): Southern route (the Project) aims to alleviate traffic congestion and mitigate air pollution in Dhaka by constructing the mass rapid transit system, contributing to economic development, and improving the urban environment. The Project is a fast-track project, and it is expected to enhance east-west connectivity via the Central Business District (CBD), as there is no single continuous main road in the east-west direction.
Main Tasks & Duties:- Report to the TL- Prepare clear reports, charts, and graphical representations of noise and vibration measurements, as well as visualizations. - Review assessment of noise and vibration-sensitive receptors and structures. - Review sufficiency, provide solutions, and oversee the installation of noise barriers, vibration-damping measures, and material solutions for the Client. - Organize noise and vibration data using computer software and a database, and conduct modelling to check/demonstrate the sufficiency of noise and vibration mitigation measures. - Assist in resolving any issues related to noise and vibration. - Review noise and vibration impact assessments, sensitive receptors, and use of modelling to determine the sufficiency of noise and vibration mitigation measures.
