JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the migration of Java-based backend services to Node.js using Express.js.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and deployment.Analyze existing Java codebases to understand business logic and translate it effectively into Node.js.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes.Ensure robust testing and validation of migrated services.Analyze and existing programs, job flows, and componentsREQUIRED SKILLS:· 8 years’ experience in Node.js Express.js: Advanced proficiency in building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and enterprise application development.
· Experience in transitioning legacy Java services to Node.js with minimal disruption.
· Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
· Relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
· Code Quality Performance: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization.
· Proficient in Git for source code management and collaboration.
· Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
