We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth s Mission, Vision, Values.
Collectively, the AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in Denver Metro area. The AdventHealth Medical Group is a coalition of over 2,000 physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows and faculty members. The AdventHealth Medical Group network offers a continuum of care across nine U.S. states. From primary care doctors to pediatricians and surgical specialists, we have physicians to support patients whole health at every age and every stage of life. Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
Eligible for active Colorado license
Current DEA Licensure
Ability to procure and maintain an ACLS certification
Team player with patient-first mindset
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support staff
Comfort in running codes and rapid responses
Comfort in co-managing ICU-level patients with the Critical Care team
Provide admission services for the Emergency Department, incoming transfer patients, and direct or emergent admissions in accordance with the hospital on call schedule and patient assignment guidelines
Provide consultative and co-management services for subspecialty services when such services are within the scope and designation of privileges
Accept transfers of care from other clinical service lines if the patient is deemed appropriate for the hospital medicine service
Respond in a timely manner to communication from hospital staff
