BSWH is seeking a fulltime, nocturnist Hospitalist to join our outstanding Inpatient Medicine Care program in Irving, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package. Essential Functions of the Role
Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.Order, perform, and interpret tests and examine records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.Work with a clinical team of technicians, advanced practice professionals, and physicians. Make judgments about tests, diagnoses, and treatment options for patients.Monitor patient conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.Diagnoses and treats conditions in area of specialty.
May perform surgical procedures, treatment or non-invasive procedures in area of specialty.
May create post-operative care plans, recommend lifestyle changes involving diet, exercise and other matters.

QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate Degree in MedicineLicensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical BoardWhere applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
