Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

Telecare behavioral health program is a 24/7, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis. MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, Case Manager Master’s, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care. This program collaborates and accepts referrals from the San Diego Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management. Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field
What You Will Do to Change Lives
The Clinician provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers. San Diego Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) Clinician provides telephone screening, triage and referral services and assures that every consumer caller receives timely response to their call, accurate assessments, appropriate interventions and professional attention.
Shifts Available:
Short-Hour | NOC | Shifts: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM | Days: Friday - Saturday
Expected starting wage range is $52.94 - $65.40. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field Current registration with CA BBS as an AMFT, APCC, ACSW Two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and mental health services Driver's license and vehicle insurance that is current and valid with your name listed as the driver Your own personal vehicle to use for work to attend community meetings, drive on site to crisis if needed, and more. Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver. Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
