Job Purpose

The No 3 Gluer is responsible for assisting the number 1 in all aspects of machine set up, ensuring quality adherence and achieving team targets.   They will also be required to cover the roles and responsibilities of the number 2 position when the number 1 is absent. 

 

Role Responsibilities

Assist in operating the machine in accordance with the Standard Operating ProcedureEnsuring total quality of cartons produced within the Gluing processOperating equipment in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and othersInvolvement in Continuous Improvement Projects in the departmentWorking with a team to ensure targets are achieved

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience  

Good attendance and time keepingCompetent in assisting and setting up Gluing MachinesA strong appreciation of and regard for Quality and SafetyFlexible working attitude and a strong team working approachGood written and oral communication skillsUnderstanding of KPI’s to track performance
