**Grinder Operator** Adecco is currently seeking a Grinder Operator in Houston, Tx. As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for grinding fittings, joint restraints, and various castings. You will also support warehouse operations, contribute to workplace safety, and maintain cleanliness in the grinding booths, warehouse, and yard areas. **Key Responsibilities:** + Grind castings and fittings using hand tools, grinding tools, and pneumatic air equipment + Inspect products for accuracy and quality + Package products according to company standards + Maintain a clean and safe grinding booth and warehouse environment + Wear appropriate PPE, including goggles and respirators as required + Operate floor scrubber and perform general cleaning duties + Communicate any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues to management + Perform additional duties as assigned **Qualifications:** **Required:** + High school diploma or GED + 1–3 years of experience performing general warehouse duties + Grinding experience with castings and fittings + Experience using hand tools and pneumatic tools + Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks for 10-hour shifts + Ability to wear a respirator and PPE for extended periods **Preferred:** + 1–3 years of grinding experience in a production or manufacturing environment + Familiarity with 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Basic computer skills **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and climb throughout a 10-hour shift + Must frequently lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with pallet jack + Frequent use of wrists and hands for tool handling and material grinding **Work Environment:** + Must be able to work in varying climate conditions + Overtime and some Saturday shifts may be required based on business needs **What’s in it for you?** · Weekly pay starting at $ 18.50/hr · Benefits after your first paycheck.
