The Opportunity:
Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for a Night Manager.
Essential function of the job:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Acting as manager on duty for the Hotel during the overnight shift; overseeing all overnight staff, managing the front drive, guest related resolutions, problem-solving, special requests and any other inquiries that may ariseEnsure all employees perform assigned tasks and coordinate Front Office communication with other departmentsKeep overnight staff informed of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals and in-house as well as special requests Handle any emergencies or incidents that arise during the overnight shiftTakes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not availableMaintain accurate records of all incidents and communicate any issues to the appropriate partiesProcess all financial transactions, including the verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and proceduresPerform night audit, ensuring accuracy and completion on timeDeliver any financial reports as requiredEnsure timely compilation Front Office report and Morning Operational Meeting PresentationGenerate and upload the daily and weekly reportsComplete and verify all audit paperwork and shift reportsMonitor inventory and restock supplies as neededRequired to conduct a formal pass on to the relieving manager in the morning and assist with Morning Meeting when neededAssist in conducting performance evaluations and disciplines staff when neededOther duties /projects as assignedQualifications and Skills:
2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of Front Office or Rooms DivisionMust be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidaysRequires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageMust provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of AmericaWhat to Expect:
