NICU Nursing Director

Are you an experienced nursing professional ready to step into a pivotal leadership role? We're looking for a dynamic individual to provide essential support and leadership to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), overseeing nursing and other designated patient care functions within a hospital setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and staff development.

What You'll Do: Provide leadership and support to the CNO, assisting with the assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice across multiple units. Assume 24/7 responsibility for your assigned areas, ensuring continuous high-quality and safe patient care. Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. What We're Looking For: Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state of residence/practice. Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care-related field or a BSN. (MSN or master’s in a health care-related field is preferred). 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position. Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. AHA BLS certification. Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Proven leadership ability and strong understanding of hospital operations. At least 2 years experience specifically in NICU USC/GC ONLY.
