Pay Range: $33.58 - $50.36 / hour

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential Overtime On-call pay

Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging. Prepares for and assists the physician in interventional  procedures

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Minimum:

Completion of accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography.

Preferred:

Experience as a sonographer

 

**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Minimum IF Sonography program is accredited through the ARRT: 

ARRT certification prior to hire date CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire. Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire.

Minimum IF Sonography program is accredited through CAAHEP

CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire. Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire.

Must pass Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam within 12 months of hire.

Preferred:

Registered by ARDMS in abdomen, OB/Gyn and Vascular

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Minimum:   Previous healthcare experience

Preferred:  Two years of clinical experience
