Pay Range: $33.58 - $50.36 / hour

Provides magnetic resonance imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Implements MRI safety standards Prepares for and assists the physician and anesthesia staff in procedures, including interventional procedures. Prepares and administers contrast media within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum:
Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program. OR Completion of the ARMRIT programPreferred:
Experience as a hospital MRI technologist**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Minimum:
Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current ARMRIT certification. Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). MRI certification required within 24 months of hire if going through the ARRT program CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
Preferred:
ARRT certification in MRIEXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum: Previous healthcare experience
Preferred: Two years of clinical experience
