POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides radiologic imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations. Implements radiation protection and safety standards.EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum:
Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Preferred:
Experience as a hospital radiographer
**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Certification by ARRT in Radiology. Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum: Previous healthcare experience (clinical training during Rad Tech program will count as experience)
Preferred: Two years of clinical experience
