NI-Coordinator, Patient Food Service

Pay Range: $17.27 - $23.32 / hour 

Additional components of compensation may include:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of clerical and technical tasks to support patient/client nutrition care plans.  Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Previous clerical and/or supervisory experience preferred in food service setting.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Certification from the State of Illinois Food Service Sanitation preferred.  Serve Safe Food Handler certification required to be completed within 30 days of hire.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and ability to type 40 wpm.    Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and with patients, visitors and members of the community.  Ability to respond to and resolve customer complaints.  Successful completion of annual job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
