NGL Trader
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **NGL Trader** through **July 8th, 2025** at **11:59 p.m.** ( **CST** ). Chevron is seeking a strategic and commercially focused NGL Trader to manage refinery and offhub positions. This role is responsible for overseeing NGL flows from multiple refineries, developing and executing seasonal storage strategies, and crafting trading strategies that drive profitability. The trader will optimize logistics across rail, truck, barge, and pipeline networks, while integrating volumes across Chevron’s NGL system to maximize value and operational efficiency. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Lead the development and execution of trading strategies for Chevron’s refinery and equity NGL positions. + Expand book earnings by identifying and executing new commercial opportunities. + Integrate and balance volumes across Chevron’s system to maximize profitability and portfolio performance. + Optimize physical logistics (rail, truck, barge, pipeline) and storage assets. + Perform market analysis to uncover trends and inform trading decisions. + Collaborate closely with the Global NGL Team and cultivate a strong network of industry counterparts. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelors’ Degree + 5+ years of professional experience in a trading/marketing capacity + Experience managing refinery/offhub NGL positions + Experience managing movement of NGLs by rail, truck, and/or barge + Strong contract negotiation experience + Thorough understanding of trading risk, with proven ability to assess and manage exposures **Preferred Qualifications:** + 8+ years of professional experience in a trading/marketing capacity + Experience executing financial positions/hedges **Relocation Options:** _Relocation_ **_may be_** _considered within Chevron parameters._ **International Considerations:** _Expatriate assignments_ **_will not be_** _considered._ Chevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position.
