The Data Quality Risk & Control Associate will support the implementation of the Data Quality framework within the Investment Management Non-Financial Risk Department, and will lead the day-to-day execution of the IM Data Quality risk reduction roadmap, such as:
Cataloguing and analysing data quality issues, defining trends & patterns to support their prioritization and remediation Identification of critical deliverables and associated use cases and the determination of data quality control requirements across systemsSupporting the Prioritized Data Initiative programThis work will require end-to-end data flow analysis, assessment of data quality controls, identification of business data ownership, cataloguing of this metadata into our data catalogue (Collibra), and managing the annual review of catalogued issues and data quality controls. Additional responsibilities will include metrics and materials production and reporting for the purposes of progress tracking, and updates to both the IM and Firmwide Data Quality Governance Committees.
Skills Required:
2-4 years of experience in financial services and/or data governanceBachelor's or higher degree in Business field with technical background or vice versaAnalytical skills and understanding of data flow conceptsExperience in analysis of large data sets and report buildingSQL/Python/Power BI knowledge is a plusStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven track record of project prioritization, execution and risk managementHighly motivated, self-starter with a clear ownership mindset and ability to appropriately challenge assumptionsSound judgment and ability to escalate project risks and issuesStrong relationship management skills in order to successfully coordinate across various Business and Technology functions and partnersTeam player who is results oriented, self-motivated, and able to act on own initiative; able to lead and influence without direct authorityStrong written and verbal communication skillsRobust problem-solving skills and strong work ethicAbility to clearly present ideas and project status to business stakeholders#LI-JN1 #LI-hybrid #BPDB
