📝 Additional Information on Critical Care Internship and Emergency Nurse Internship Program

Some units, such as Critical Care and Emergency, include an added internship component that requires:

3 weeks of didactic and minimum 16 weeks of preceptorshipGuided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledgeShift: Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shiftEvery other weekend requirementCommitment: This is an hours-based commitment required for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hours
