📝 Additional Information on Critical Care Internship and Emergency Nurse Internship Program
Some units, such as Critical Care and Emergency, include an added internship component that requires:
3 weeks of didactic and minimum 16 weeks of preceptorshipGuided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledgeShift: Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shiftEvery other weekend requirementCommitment: This is an hours-based commitment required for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hoursThese openings are limited and may not be available each cycle.
