Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a NPI Engineer to join their team. As a NPI Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting product introduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: NPI Engineer

Location: Suwanee, GA

Pay Range: $75-$85k

What's the Job?

Evaluate customer drawings and data for labor quotation and documentation creation. Perform design for assembly (DFA) and design for fabrication (DFF) analysis of product designs. Support Lean culture and effectively use Lean Sigma concepts to identify and eliminate waste. Lead the development of design documentation and materials for manufacturability. Monitor SMT processes and establish robust process parameters and controls.

What's Needed?

6+ years of demonstrated experience in SMT process engineering. Ability to read and understand PCA assembly drawings and technical notes. Strong knowledge of DFM, NPI, and Lean Manufacturing methods. Experience with MFG ERP software or similar manufacturing software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
