Come join a career you can grow in and a culture you can run with. **Overview** The New Homes Field Performance Specialists are responsible for the quality assurance, and technical troubleshooting of new solar system installations in residential developments. The New Homes Field Performance Specialist must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the New Homes and Construction teams. This role interacts closely with builders, site superintendents, and New Homes Performance Specialist Team to ensure that new system installations meet all quality, code, safety, and operational standards. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Support the commissioning and Activation of solar systems in new home developments + Inspect and verify the quality of PV system installation, ensuring compliance with design and building codes + Perform on-site testing of system components including modules, inverters, monitoring systems, batteries, and BOS (Balance of System) + Communicate proactively with construction supervisors, builders, and engineering to address any build-site discrepancies or redline updates + Complete system documentation and checklists in Salesforce Field Service Application for final QA sign-off + Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction during installation activities **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** + High School diploma is required + 1 - 3 years of experience in residential construction or solar installation preferred + Experience with new residential construction (e.g., tract homes) is a plus **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** + **Construction Knowledge:** Working knowledge of PV systems from roof to meter within new home environments.
