We are currently looking for a New Business Development Manager Electrification to join our clients Team in the Roermond area. In this role, you will take ownership of driving battery and electrification sales across Western Europe. Your focus will be on developing relationships with key OEMs and technology partners, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering technical value in both established sectors (e.g. construction, agriculture) and emerging segments (e.g. robotics, rail).
You will be part of a forward-thinking organization actively shaping the energy transition by offering advanced battery, charger, motor, and controller solutions. This is a strategic, outward-facing role ideal for a commercially driven individual with strong technical insight.
Key Responsibilities Market Expansion: Identify and acquire new OEMs and technology partners to grow the electrification customer base. Sales Support: Support internal engine sales teams in introducing battery solutions to their existing clients. Technical Consultation: Advise clients on the right battery technologies, installation, and application use cases. Strategic Growth: Develop and implement growth strategies to increase both revenue and gross margin. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market and competitor developments to inform business decisions. Sales Planning & Execution: Build and present custom sales and marketing strategies for new opportunities. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with internal sales and marketing teams to align on company-wide initiatives. Cost Control: Manage budgets and selling expenses effectively. Mentorship: Support and guide other sales colleagues in business development efforts. Travel: Up to 50% across Western Europe, with regular visits to prospects and partners. Your Profile Experience & Background Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within electrification, batteries, or related technologies. Proven track record of creating successful business plans and securing new accounts. Skills & Competencies Strong commercial mindset combined with technical credibility. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-starter, organized, and comfortable managing multiple sales projects in parallel. Able to influence decisions and negotiate at multiple levels within an organization. Strong analytical capabilities and strategic thinking. Fluent in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus). QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.
