As the New Business Development Lead at Worldpanel Vietnam, you will be at the forefront of our growth journey, responsible for driving the expansion of our client portfolio and win new business through our consumer panel insights. Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will be a commercial leader with a passion for identifying opportunities, unlocking client value, and delivering winning solutions. You will also manage and coach a New Business Executive, working as a team to bring success.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Client Acquisition
Drive new business revenue by targeting high-potential sectors and whitespace opportunities.Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a client-centric, solutions-first approach.Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, building long-term partnerships.Market Engagement & Visibility
Collaborate with marketing on campaigns (e.g. webinars, PR, thought leadership).Represent Worldpanel at key events and client meetings to enhance visibility.Monitor competitors and market trends to inform business strategy.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Coach and develop the New Business Executive, ensuring aligned goals and performance.Partner cross-functionally with client service and operations for seamless delivery and onboarding.Provide input into strategic and budget planning with commercial insights.Key Strengths & Capabilities

8+ years of experience in business development, strategic consulting, or commercial leadership roles.Experience in consumer insights, market research, or related fields.Deep understanding of Vietnam’s FMCG or retail landscape.Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in insights, market research, consulting, or data-led industries.Strong lead generation and funnel management skills, experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline.Fluent in English and Vietnamese. Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders (including C-level).Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability— connecting client needs to Worldpanel’s capabilities.Strong network among local and multinational companies in Vietnam.Prior experience managing and mentoring team members is a plus.What’d we offer:
