NeuropsychologistWorcester, MAUMass Memorial Medical Center, the academic teaching hospital and clinical partner of The University of Massachusetts Medical School, is inviting applications for a Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Neurology DepartmentNeuropsychology:This is a part-time position working two, four-hour sessions per week based within the Department of Neurology. The individual will be embedded in the outpatient neurology department servicing young adult (18+), adult, and older adult outpatients. Referrals are multidisciplinary from neurology, primary care, psychology, and other specialties. Referral reasons include dementias, movement disorders, head injury, epilepsy, and other medical and psychiatric conditions that impact cognitive functioning. This position offers the opportunity for academic appointment to the UMass Chan Medical School commensurate with experience, as well as academic engagement including teaching and research. The pursuit of research and/or program development is encouraged.Typical duties include:Psychological diagnostic evaluation and neuropsychology evaluationProvision of feedback to patients and familiesClinical supervision of postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychologyTimely completion of documentationCollaboration with multidisciplinary teams for patient carePosition Qualifications:Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology focus) from an APA-accredited programCompletion of an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology internshipMA Board of Psychology licensureCompletion of two-year of neuropsychology fellowship consistent with Houston conference guidelinesBoard certification, or eligibility for certification, by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) is required.
