Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases. **The ro** **le you'll contribute:** Performs Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) testing. **The valu** **e you'll bring to the team:** Conducts long-term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and traces electrical pathways Ability to scan, correlate, and clip studies Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity Explains testing procedures to patient and family using age-appropriate guidelines Performs studies with appropriate documentation, observes patients, troubleshoots equipment and physiological artifacts, and utilizes appropriate resources Qualifications **The** **expertise and** **experiences** **you'll need to succeed:** Graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostics school or 2 years of technical experience.
