The SME will play a critical role in ensuring the organization’s network and security posture aligns with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and evolving threat landscapes. **Your role:** + Serve as the primary expert on network architecture, security protocols, and threat mitigation strategies. + Design and review secure network solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation. + Lead security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing initiatives. + Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure secure deployment and operations. + Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. + Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and recommending improvements. + Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001). + Provide training and mentorship to technical teams on security best practices. + Support audits and compliance reviews by providing technical evidence and documentation.
