Network Supervisor
**Job Description:** The Network Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in supporting and securing the healthcare network infrastructure across clinical and administrative environments. This position oversees a team of network analysts, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance of all network systems. The ideal candidate combines effective use of the ServiceNow platform, excellent customer service, and a strong understanding of the unique demands of healthcare IT, including HIPAA compliance and 24/7 clinical support. The ideal candidate combines effective use of the ServiceNow platform, excellent customer service, and a strong understanding of the unique demands of healthcare IT, including HIPAA compliance and 24/7 clinical support. **Education Qualifications:** Key Responsibilities: + Supervise daily operations of the network team, providing prioritization, coaching, and performance feedback + Manage and prioritize network-related incidents, requests, and changes through the ServiceNow ticketing system + Ensure network support services deliver exceptional customer service to clinical, administrative, and support teams + Ensure the monitoring of network performance and proactive actions to minimize impact on patient care and business operations + Ensure the implementation of network diagrams, documentation, and asset tracking in ServiceNow and internal repositories + Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to implement and enforce network access controls, auditing, and threat detection + Serve as an escalation point for responding to network outages and critical incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and communication + Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for critical healthcare infrastructure + Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to support and maintain network services Education Requirements: + Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in enterprise network administration or engineering to include 2+ years of IT team leadership or supervisory experience OR + Associates degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent degree plus 6 years of experience in enterprise network administration or engineering to include 2+ years of IT team leadership or supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: + Familiarity in enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs) + Experience and/or familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or PaloAlto network infrastructure + Familiarity with healthcare technologies (EHR systems, HL7 interfaces, clinical applications) + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach + Proven ability to work with clinical and non-technical staff to resolve technical issues + Calm under pressure and effective in high-stakes healthcare environments + Excellent documentation, time management, and problem-solving abilities + Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset Employee Benefits at Essentia Health: At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
