Network Service Manager for IBM CIO
**Introduction** In IBM, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Service Manager to oversee the performance, and continuous improvement of network services across our enterprise. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our network infrastructure, while closely aligning with broader business objectives and evolving customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset to drive service excellence. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end network service operations and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support innovation and agility. This is a key leadership position that offers the opportunity to shape the future of our network ecosystem and contribute meaningfully to organizational success. **Your role and responsibilities** * Service Management & Delivery * Oversee end-to-end delivery of network services including LAN/WAN, wireless and cloud connectivity. * Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and service quality standards are consistently met or exceeded. * Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services. * Operational Excellence * Lead incident, problem, and change management processes for network services. * Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. * Team Leadership * Manage and mentor a team of network engineers and service analysts. * Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives. * Strategic Planning * Develop and execute network service strategies aligned with organizational goals. * Participate in resource budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning. * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate. * Compliance & Security * Ensure network services comply with internal policies and external regulations. * Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 7+ years of experience in network engineering or service management, with 3+ years in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and service management best practices. * Expertise in enterprise networking technologies such as SDWAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, Cloud Networking and Network Security. * Proven experience managing large-scale network operations and service delivery. * Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * ITIL v4 Foundation or higher * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar from other Vendors * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
