You Are:

Seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Project Manager to lead and support initiatives related to enterprise network and network security. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, scheduling, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation. The role requires close coordination with engineering, architecture, operations, and support teams to ensure project success, on-time delivery, and high service quality.

 

The opportunity:

·       Lead and manage multiple concurrent network and network security projects from initiation through closure.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed project plans.

·       Coordinate implementation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance of network and security equipment.

·       Plan and oversee installation/maintenance activities, including after-hours support for critical outages or deployments.

·       Prepare and validate network configurations in collaboration with the engineering team.

·       Ensure deployment of wired and wireless network devices aligns with architectural standards.

·       Manage service delivery in accordance with service management processes, SLAs, and customer satisfaction goals.

·       Maintain documentation, including technical and end-user guides for all services and implementations.

·       Support root cause analysis and incident trend identification following outages or network disruptions.

·       Track and manage IT hardware procurement, inventory, tagging, and logistics to meet project timelines.

·       Oversee physical tasks such as unpacking, mounting, and preparing network hardware for remote setup.

·       Assist in audit preparations and inventory reviews.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. PMP certification preferred.

·       Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or networking environments, preferably within global or enterprise settings.

·       Technical Knowledge: Understanding of enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, VPN, Switches/Routers), network security practices, and ITIL/ITSM frameworks.

·       Skills:

·       Strong project planning and organizational skills.

·       Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication.

·       Strong documentation and reporting skills.

·       Capable of working outside regular business hours when required.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Ontario

Compensation Range: $108,000-$132,000

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
