Network Security Manager
Description

Summary:
The Network Security Manager will guide the implementation, configuration, and standardization of firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, Netflow monitoring, and DDoS protections.   A network security manager strives to enforce security best practices, policies, standards and guidance to ensure the safeguard of Huntington National Bank’s proprietary data, physical infrastructure, and resources from internal and external threats.  The ideal candidate has outstanding team development skills, the ability to perform root cause analysis, understand application implications and performance impacts from security controls, and drives for the remediation of complex high-risk environments.  The manager’s mission is to lead the teams collective technical expertise, and unique perspective as security practitioners, to help shape, deliver, and manage optimal network security controls for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop detailed risk assessment reports, which explain identified gaps in policies; describe potential business risks, and create prioritized recommendations with estimated costs and effort levels for remediationCoordinate with cross-organization engineers and IT management to identify and resolve security gaps and vulnerabilitiesWork with cross-organization engineers and network teams to review network traffic and adjust Firewall policyDefense through multiple layers of encryption, multifactor authentication, and network controlsMaintain knowledge of current security areas such as Auditing, Policy, Database Security, Firewall Design and Implementation, Threat Assessments, Risk Analysis, Identity Management, Access Management, and Web Services.Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

4 Years of Architecture and Operations for Web Application Firewall within production environment3 Years of experience in Informational Security Delivery Management or Operational Technology Security Management.2 Years People ManagementAssociate's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Skilled level proficiency in the areas of Layer 2/3 switching and network managementSkilled with all networks protocols and servicesKnowledgeable proficiency in industry cyber security standardsCIS Center for Internet Security frameworksNIST cyber security control frameworkISA95, ISA99 standard, ISO27001, ISO27002 and Cobit 5Experience with Agile Delivery Methodology
