Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Security Architect in Alpharetta, GA. Summary: This role is responsible for defining, leading, and promoting the principles, standards, and design patterns that ensure secure products and enterprise tools across all multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This role specifically focuses on network security for global networks supporting all users, products, and internal enterprise systems. Other cybersecurity architecture peers specialize in application security, multi-cloud infrastructure, and SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will influence cross-functional teams, helping to establish and enforce cybersecurity architectural guidelines. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, define, and influence cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and technical guardrails * Develop secure design patterns in collaboration with product and enterprise architecture teams for adoption by engineering groups * Serve as the cybersecurity lead for major projects and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and risk mitigation * Partner with business and technical teams to define network-focused cybersecurity guardrails that streamline secure development and deployment * Participate in security events and incident investigations, recommending design improvements to address root causes and prevent recurrence * Educate and mentor architects and engineers on network security best practices * Work closely with cybersecurity peers to integrate vulnerability management, GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), cyber defense, identity governance, and continuous control monitoring into cohesive cybersecurity standards * Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure network security architecture meets regulatory and contractual requirements
