**We are searching for the best talent for Network Planning & Capacity Senior Manager (Raw Materials) for Ciudad Juarez, Mex, for Ethicon Independencia plant.**
**Purpose:**
Responsible for the orchestration and consolidation raw materials (RM) net requirements, supply network allocation planning, supplier mid-long range capacity planning to facilitate optimal flow of inventory through the supply chain. Manages and orchestrates the E2E Raw Material Strategic Capacity Program. Verifies and integrates planning parameters, forecasts, and inventory targets. Manages allocation planning of raw materials between FG sites, including re-distribution between finished goods (FG) sites to meet customer service goals. In addition, has oversight of the Planning parameters governance of the Juarez site.
**You will be responsible for** **:**
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
1. Orchestrates the consolidation of FG site network level RM gross and net requirements (MRP) package for the planning horizon (18-24 months) per S&OP drumbeat, financial & LRFP cycles. Handovers and presents package to the Integrated Supplier Management (ISM) and leadership teams for the Endo Mech and Energy platforms.
2. Has oversight of the E2E Raw Materials Strategic Capacity Program, ensures process adherence continuously is met, leads assessments, implements and drives continuous improvements to the program. Leads the orchestration and adherence of the Strategic Capacity Management (SCM) framework and drumbeat for the assigned platform or brand through the planning-financial cycles. Facilitates the Monthly Capacity Reviews, Orchestrates the RM-Capacity processes for financial cycles (monthly, BP, JU, NU, LRFP), and leads the annual capacity renewal and supplier segmentation process in collaboration with cross functional teams.
3. Develops Executive level decks and visualizations for critical forums, presents to the executive levels frequently (i.e. FG Site S&OPs, Exec. Supply Reviews, Monthly Capacity, ISM LT, Platform Reviews etc.)
4. Oversee the Planning parameters governance of the Juarez site and continuously collaborates with the Global Plan and local Production Planning teams to ensure adherence and maintenance of the process in accordance to the established guidelines. Coordinates and ensures timely completion of system changes or proposals per Plan COE governance.
5. Partners with assigned Value Stream Leaders & Global Plan E2E partners to understand portfolio strategic growth, volume projection, cannibalization scenarios to develop a view of the early development pipeline and assess the impact on future (Legacy and New Product Introduction-NPI) component capacity requirements.
6. Partners with Integrated Supplier Management teams to map assigned supplier’s capacity status by component and work-center, identify capacity bottleneck risks, and recommend capacity projects and other actions, including inventory build-up, to secure short and long-term capacity needs.
7. Orchestrates RM supply-network strategies per the MRP forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory-financial targets through event management process (i.e. STEM, PIPO, Supplier Trade Off etc.). Monitors and identifies gaps, connects with cross functional teams to develop strategies-scenarios to address gaps, and escalates to the appropriate forums for higher level decision making as needed.
8. Develops, and manages assigned budgets including, but not limited to: external 3PL-WHSE fees, SLOB, sub tier vendor BCP/LTB inventories, etc. in accordance to finance-inventory policies. Reports out actuals and actions to address gaps per financial drumbeat cycles.
9. Leads short, mid and long-term event/ scenario planning discussions within the appropriate forums in the Global Planning governance via Component S&OP with suppliers and hands over to Production Planning as input to cMPS process in accordance to Supply S&OP drumbeat.
10. Planning Project Liaison for highly complex RM Network & Capacity Strategies: Source-PRISM, NPI Launches and Component PIPO, Material Obsolescence.
11. In accordance with SCM Framework and drumbeat, leads the monitoring & tracking of vendor capacities, related capacity projects and escalates any risks to customer service to the next levels. Orchestrates and Executes component S&OP in accordance to segmentation strategy, and continuously monitors adherence to process.
12. Supports the annual component capacity renewal process as a critical input to global planning processes.
13. Continuously works with and understands and maintains parameters in current capacity and network planning tools and systems (i.e. ERPs, Polaris, Tableau, PBI, etc.)
14. Monitors and develop strategies towards driving balanced score card improvements across the network (RM Min-Max Attainment, PIT, SS, OTIF, Inv Financial Commits, CIPs, SLOB etc.). Recommends improvement to inventory parameters where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, credibility, or overall operation.
15. Supports talent strategies and capability building roadmaps for the department.
16. Core Team member representing RM Network-Capacity Planning in critical business forums per latest business operating model (i.e. Exec Supply Reviews, NPI, Platform-VSL Reviews, ISM LTs, SRTs, CETs, Strategic Projects, Vulnerability, pre-STEM, FG Pipeline etc.)
17. Accountable and responsible for the proactive communication of business-related issues or opportunities to next management level.
18. Ensures understanding and communication on the business consequences arising from trade-offs concerning the planning activities applying scenario planning and escalation for decision making.
19. Drives and leads continuous improvement initiatives and events (i.e. workshops) to further mature the E2E planning processes pertaining to the function.
20. Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
21. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
22. Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
23. Performs other duties assigned as needed
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ A minimum of a BS required; technical or business degree is required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.
+ A minimum of 8 years of combined experience in Source, Plan, Systems and/or Operation is required.
+ A minimum of 8 years in manufacturing capacity experience, including, changeover, downtime, efficiency, and other related capacity critical elements.
+ Experience in the Medical Device industry or regulated industry
+ Computer systems knowledge and programming is required.
+ Fully Bilingual, Spanish, and English, written and verbal.
+ APICS CSCP is preferred.
+ Change management, project management, the ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a global environment.
+ Executive level communication skills.
+ Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred.
+ Computer skills, Windows: word processing, project planning, presentation, e-mail, and spreadsheet software
+ ERP/Digital systems proficiency & skills such as navigation and data base understanding, management, programming skills are preferred.
