Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Network Operations Center - Associate to join their team in Louisville.
The Network Operations Center Engineer (NOC), Associate will monitor and maintain the voice, data and video networks for Data Centers, 9 hospital facilities and 300+ branch locations across the region in a mission-critical, 24x7 enterprise environment. This will be performed by utilizing a broad and highly technical knowledge of the area’s functions and applications in the network architecture, hardware environment, software environment, and departmental procedures and processes.
Essential Duties:
• Utilize SolarWinds and science logic to identify network impairments
• Identify trends that may impact performance
• Open incidents with ticketing system such as Cherwell, Remedy, RT
• Ensure tickets are updated and escalated per SLA
• Support cross-functional teams such as server infrastructure, unified communications, network engineering
• Perform tasks such as backups and patch management.
• Perform switch port turn-ups and vlan changes
• Perform DNS and DHCP changes
• Perform other minor configuration changes.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
Technical Diploma. Associate's degree preferred
3+ years in related technology field
Previous NOC or Network engineering experience preferred
CCNA Certification or equivalent Aruba certification required
