Our work depends on Network Operations, Lead joining our team to oversee operation of the AF local site network. Ensures network, hardware, and software are performing to the SLA standards. Monitors the performance of the network and identifies potential issues and makes recommendations for solutions and implements. Leads the team of network administrators and engineers to ensure the solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively. Supports problem solving and incident response. Collaborates with NOC / NIL resources to ensure the network aligns with the PWS requirements.
HOW A NETWORK OPERATIONS, LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Supervises employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas. Supervises non-exempt Technicians
● Collaborates directly with AF client on planning, moderations and procedures
● Drives client-directed efforts to implement planned changes and procedures
● Leads a high-octane team of highly skilled technicians and operators, providing direction, support, and mentorship as necessary
● Works after-hours and weekends during maintenance windows on-site as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

5+ years of related experience● Required Technical Skills:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while still ensuring high quality of work.Experience working directly with hardware vendors involved in the incident resolution process.Experience with various software systems and architectures, communications protocols: and network hardware devices.NOC/SOC operations background – you've been in the trenches and know what worksIncident management expertise with a track record of managing complex, multi-team responses
