Network Infrastructure Management Tool Integrator, Staff
**Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Firewall Management Toolset Developer to design, develop, and maintain a suite of tools and applications that support our firewall administrators in managing and securing our network infrastructure\. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in cloud\-based solutions, backend database design, and automation initiatives to enhance our firewall management capabilities and improve the overall efficiency and security of our network\. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of firewall technologies, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with vendor APIs, in\-house developed databases, and commercial off\-the\-shelf \(COTS\) solutions\. You will use this knowledge to develop and improve tools and workflows that support our firewall management team, including: \* Developing and maintaining cloud\-based applications and scripts to automate firewall management tasks \* Designing and maintaining backend relational databases to store and manage firewall configuration and log data \* Identifying opportunities for improved tools and workflows, and designing and developing solutions to address these needs \* Collaborating with firewall administrators and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements Key Responsibilities: \* Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud\-based tools and applications to support firewall management, including automation of routine tasks and workflows \* Develop and maintain backend databases to support firewall management, including data modeling, database design, and performance optimization \* Collaborate with firewall administrators to identify opportunities for improved tools and workflows, and develop solutions to address these needs \* Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with vendor\-provided tools and systems to support firewall management \* Participate in the development of automation scripts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors in firewall management The ideal candidate will be a self\-motivated and proactive individual with a strong understanding of firewall technologies and a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex problems\. You will be able to work independently with minimal direction, and will be comfortable communicating technical information to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders\. **Basic Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications : \- Multiple years of programming experience with Python, C\#/\.Net, or NodeJS \- API integration development experience \- Significant experience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting security technologies in large enterprise networks \- Strong familiarity with firewalls \- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies \(Cloud Practitioner certification\) \- Experience with SQL relational databases **Desired Skills:** Desired skills : \- Subject matter expertise on Palo Alto Networks and Juniper firewalls \- In\-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including: Lambda functions EC2 Step Functions EventBridge RDS Systems Manager CloudFormation CloudWatch \- AWS Associate Solutions Architect certification \- Microsoft SQL Server specific database expertise, including Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio \- Experience with Splunk interface and query language \- Familiarity with Gitlab repositories **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\. **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $136,500 \- $236,555\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
