Key responsibilities

To provide safe,economic and timely operations and maintenance of all IT/Network SystemsPerform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backupsPinpoint any issues promptly and resolveProvide remote support and Emergency Maintenance support to end customer,Representing ABB as a IT/ Network expert in customer discussionsTrack Software Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware UpdatesPerform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusionsActively contributing to identifying, managing, and reducing cyber security risks, Introduce new cyber security-related policies, standards, and practicesPerform regular file archival and purge as necessaryPerform ongoing performance tuning, and resource optimization as required Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as requiredPerform ongoing performance monitoring, updates and any optimization on all project network equipment such as switches, routers and firewallsGathering all reports and maintenance activity data in official reporting formatArranges internal/external travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, training courses as and when required

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments3+ Years IT experience Networking, including LAN/WAN- Firewalls- Wireless- Security- Encryption and Cyber Security technologiesCisco CCNA/ CCNP or similar certificationHands on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of networking devices. (Cisco, Avaya, Hirschman, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)Hands on experience in handling and configuring wired & wireless network topologies, Firewalls and Network SecurityKnowledge about IEC 62443 Reference Architecture rules and Cyber Security aspectKnowledge about virtualization (Hyper-V, ESXi)Knowledge about Telephone Systems, Network Security and IP telephony, Point to Multi Point radioExperience in SIEM (LogRhythm, QRadar or similar knowledge) and Asset InventoryKnowledge about at least one of these; Pipeline Monitoring Systems (PMS) Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA)System, Public Address Warning System (PAWS), Security CCTV, Access Control System (ACS)Experience in ABB 800xA
