As part of the IT Infrastructure Support Team for Eurofins Food, Feed & AgroTesting Europe, you will join a growing international team to work on deployment and maintenance of segregated IT User Zones, Sites and Application Availability Groups. Your role will be to support daily operations tasks and also support project workload including design & implement new infrastructure or migrate the existing network components.  You will collaborate with number of different IT Support and Delivery Teams on daily basis. It will require networking and network security skills. Open mind and ability to cooperate with multiple individuals in a multicultural environment is essential.

Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Job DescriptionMaintain current IT User Zones, Sites and IT Application Availability Groups network infrastructureDesign, plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for Transformation / Integration / Segregation throughout Food, Feed and Agro testing businesses across Europe. These projects will be aimed to perform installations, configuration and migrations of enterprise-level network IT infrastructure systems from legacy to the new solutionsPropose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security, cost and bandwidthWork close with Server, Cloud, Application team members do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project. Act based on the end to end view of the InfrastructureDocument the solutions delivered and help to transition the service to regional teams in final stage of the projectOn site activities related to IT segregation and maintenance of existing IT Network infrastructure

Qualifications

An ideal candidate should have strong 5+ years experience in all of the below:

Experience in Network infrastructure design and transitionsNetwork components maintenance experience (upgrades etc)Next Generation Firewalls (Checkpoint and FortiGate)Data centre network experienceCisco based routing and switching (CCNA level)Knowledge of protocols: IP, SNMP, SMTP, OSPF, VLANACLsStatic routingFortinet hardware and systems configuration knowledgeFortiManagerFortiGate – NG Firewall, VPN, SDWANFortiNetVeloCloud SDWANSwitch stackingExperience of complex network migrationsCisco wireless experienceAbility to read, understand and create technical documentation of the delivered solutionsCollaborative team playerVery good command of English written and spokenAbility to present in english technical projects on meetings
