BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

Spectrum is looking for an experienced Network Engineer III to help administrate, operate, and handle daily IP management (IPAM) responsibilities for our InfoBlox platform. The ideal candidate should have strong networking skills, deep understanding of networking topology, problem-solving skills, oriented details, and accuracy, and have a strong sense of ownership and pride in their work.


WHAT OUR NETWORK ENGINEERS ENJOY THE MOST

Participates in network planning, network architecture design and engineering.Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution.Assists in the development and documentation of technical standards.Develops and implements approved methods of procedure.Designs and establishes protocol compatibility standards, develops, and implements network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.Works on projects/ systems/issues of medium to high complexity surrounding network planning, configuration, and optimization.Provides escalated tier support across organizations and to third party vendors.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

ExperienceFive years (5+) of Network Operations experience managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network hardwareEducation
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, related field, or equivalent work experienceTechnical Skills
InfoBlox experience through use or administrationWork Environment
Office Environment
May work in Network Lab environment
24X7 Network Operations environment. Depending on business group, on-call work may be an essential function of the job.Travel Requirement
Occasional travel as required

Preferred Education

Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional (CCNA/CCNP)InfoBlox DDI CertificationsIndustry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, A10, F5)

The base pay for this position generally is between $78,900.00 and $139,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
