THE JOB
Ticketmaster is seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our passionate team as we embark on an exciting journey! You'll play a key role in designing, securing, and maintaining our reliable network across global data centres.
We're transitioning from a traditional 3 tier network architecture to a leaf and spine, VXLAN/EVPN topology. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us navigate this transformation and build a future-proof network.
This role offers a perfect blend of project work and day-to-day operations. You'll tackle projects varying in size and complexity, from internal network optimization to collaborating with other teams to design and implement solutions based on their needs. We leverage Agile methodologies for efficient project management.
Your day-to-day will involve handling support tickets for access requests or network information, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you'll be ready to tackle high-priority emergencies and ensure network uptime.
This is a great opportunity to join a team actively refreshing its data centre infrastructure. We're also implementing self-service and automation solutions, creating a more efficient and scalable network operation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Design & Build Secure Networks: Craft and implement secure, scalable network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) aligned with evolving business needs. Manage larger projects within defined lifecycles.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)
5+ Years of Network Engineering Experience: You possess a minimum of 5 years' experience designing and implementing complex network solutions, with a proven track record of success.VXLAN & EVPN: You have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with VXLAN and EVPN technologies.Data Center Network: You've thrived in a network team environment, managing and troubleshooting data center network devices.Routing Protocol Guru: You have a solid grasp of routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.Advanced Networking Knowledge: You possess a good understanding of MLAG, VPC, STP, and HA protocols.VPN Expertise: You have experience supporting various VPN technologies like VTI, DMVPN, and Cisco Secure Client.Firewall Fortress Builder: You have experience configuring, optimising, and troubleshooting Fortigate and ASA/Firepower firewalls.Automation Champion: Desirable, but not essential any Experience with scripting (Python, Ansible) and infrastructure as code tools (Docker, Git, Terraform) is a major plus.Industry-Certified: Not essential if strong relevant experience, but holding a relevant industry certification like CCNP, CCIE desirableYOU (BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS AND LINK TO TICKETMASTER PRINCIPLES)

The expected compensation for this position is:
$88,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
