Position: Network Engineer -II

Experience:

(3-5 Years in Networking, Windows Based MS Networking, Active Diectory, e-mail and IT Operations domains)

Good hands-on work with Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Active Directory based MS networking, e-mail systems and Capable of managing IT opertaions   and hands-on implementation experience of these devices and services.

Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Science or Engineering with Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE and ITIL will be prefered.

Responsibilities:

Provide 24x7 operational support of existing IT Infrastructure like network, servers and services to business from IT Operations point of view.

Provide troubleshooting support to maintain all network and IT Infra. systems and monitor them proactively to ensure that production downtime is minimized

To ensure an effective communication process is in place with all the stakeholders including business, server, network, voice and desktop support teams.

Competencies    Required:

Knowledge of Cisco ASA, Fortinet and Palo Alto Firewalls and all Networking Systems such as for installing, Cisco Routers, Switches and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, FTP etc., maintaining and troubleshooting.

Understanding of networking concepts such as IPLCs, Leased Lines, MPLS, TI/T3/ E1, VPN tunnels etc.

Knowledge of configuration of Windows Based MS Networking, e-mail systems, WAN links, VLANs, VPN Tunnels and protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP,     OSPF, BGP, RIP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, IIS etc.

Effective communication skills and good documentation skills to produce related documentation

The position requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot and logically solve problems

Understanding of security compulsions from the desktop level to the network gateway and perimeter level
