We are seeking a Network Engineer who will become a member of the Euro-based IGT Corporate Enterprise network team.  This team is an integral part of the IGT global communications group responsible for maintaining LAN and WAN services for over 100 locations worldwide.

Primary duties will include supporting tactical direction and technical supervision for these locations in support of providing land-based gaming services. 

This position comes with work schedule flexibility, representing roughly 50% in-office (Reno, Nevada) and 50% remote work from home. 
 

Support in the planning, installation, and ongoing support for an international Wide-Area Network incorporating jurisdictional offices and technical support hubs to support necessary corporate communications, customer connectivity, gaming project support, and 3rd party services Support in the evaluation of new and emerging network technologies to enhance and reduce operational cost of WAN/LAN hosting services Participate in the architecture, build, and support of on-premise infrastructure and hosting environments Support on important and time sensitive corporate network deliverables to include hardware specification, vendor solicitation, staging, configuration, installation, and support Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving critical network related issues Support in the direction and implementation of network security policies while conforming to industry best-practices Assist other network engineers as needed to further team deliverables. Qualifications Entry level position with 0 to 4 years of experience in network engineering, hands-on experience in Cisco switching and routing, Fortigate firewalls and FortiManager would be desired Experience with BGP/OSPF routing and Cisco Switching is desired Ability to troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions. Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and vendors. Certifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher is desire, but not required. Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or previous hands-on experience with staging and configuration of FortiGate Firewalls is also desired, but not required. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990/yr - $96,845/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
