**Overview**
Network Engineer
In support of the Joint Modernization Command and PEO C3N Programs, Bowhead seeks a Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer designs and documents information technology networks supporting Joint, Army, and Multinational partner military exercises and experiments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for designing, reviewing, adjudicating, and documenting the System of Systems (SoS) Network architecture using MS Visio and other architectural framework tools as adopted.
+ Coordinates, reviews, and implements the Lower Tactical Tier (Integrated Tactical Network and Mobile Computing Environment), Upper Tactical Tier (Tactical Network), Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Networks, and Enterprise networks.
+ Coordinates with key stakeholders from the acquisition and modernization communities, and from Army, Joint Service, and Partner nation units to capture network requirements to meet information exchange requirements.
+ Supports the design and development of the Project Convergence, Joint Warfighting Assessment, and other key exercise Network Architectures and different Network Design Review meetings.
+ Supports the identification and refinement of complex network issues in daily technical Exchange Working Group (TEWG) meetings and as needed leads Tiger Teams to troubleshoot and resolve those issues.
+ Supports multiple organization with the development of data-products, and radio and network loads, information flows, technical and mission threads.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree and 5 - 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience.
+ Possess intricate knowledge of the C5ISR current and future network systems and applications and understand how to architect, design, develop, and integrate those systems with communications networks and services into a complete functional C2 SoS.
+ Provide comprehensive network and systems engineering support.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for communication and network systems by continuously reviewing and studying future Army Capability Sets (CS).
+ Provide high level communication to management, and end users through meetings, presentations, and documentation.

+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
+ Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
Security Clearance Requirements: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
