This position will be based at Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Korea.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer to act as the Tactical Network Service focal point, providing engineering support for Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) services, ensuring cybersecurity, and delivering security management solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Act as the Tactical Network Service focal point, responding to trouble tickets within 24 hours and documenting all coordination and troubleshooting actions. Provide engineering support for WAN services, including provision, monitoring, and management of voice and data networks, transmission technologies, and WAN acceleration hardware/software. Develop and revise WAN and LAN diagrams as requested by the government representative. Provide engineering support for LAN services, including provision, monitoring, and management of networks, and develop and revise LAN diagrams as requested. Deliver security management solutions to ensure cybersecurity while maintaining functionality and usability of Korea networks, including NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K enterprise networks. Plan, design, and execute 8A tactical network support requirements, including physical and network security standards. Perform and complete all engineering, integration, and project management requirements for tactical network infrastructure installations and upgrades. Recommend cost-saving technical solutions and report the status of projects in the Monthly Status Report (MSR). Research interoperability platforms between U.S. and U.S. Allies and make recommendations to the Government on how to accomplish interoperability throughout the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO).
