Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)Monitor network performance and integrityTroubleshoot network issues and outagesEnsure network security and connectivityPerform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurationsCollaborate with network architects on network optimizationDocument network configurations and operational proceduresProvide technical support and guidance to users and IT team membersConduct network performance tuning and capacity planning.Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.Participate in disaster recovery planning and drills.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network AdministratorHands-on experience with networking, routing, and switchingExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network infrastructureExperience with firewalls, VPNs, and network securityFamiliarity with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plusPreferred Skills:Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automationUnderstanding of SD-WAN and network virtualization technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
