10+ years of experience in network operations or engineering roles.
Certifications: Minimum CCNA (required); CCNP (preferred or in progress).
Strong working knowledge of:
Branch & Data Centre routing and switching.
Wireless setup, troubleshooting, and security.
Enterprise firewalls – especially Check Point and Palo Alto.
Internet routing, security protocols, and cloud networking.
Routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP).
VPNs (Site-to-Site and Remote Access).
Proxy technologies (Bluecoat or McAfee).
Load balancers.
Network services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IP address management.
Monitoring and diagnostic tools, including packet capture and network probes.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:Familiarity with the ITIL framework and ServiceNow ticketing system.
Understanding of voice, video, and AV technologies.
Your Role:Work as part of a global, cross-functional IT team.
Focus primarily on operations, maintenance, and support, with involvement in projects and changes.
Collaborate with other IT teams: Service Desk, Security, End-User Services, etc.
Take ownership of incidents and problems, ensuring they are resolved within agreed timelines.
Support maintenance tasks, firmware upgrades, patching, and network changes.
Follow standard procedures and document your work in ServiceNow.
Stay updated on current and future network technologies.
Be available for shift work, weekend duties, and on-call support when required.
