Kforce has a client seeking a Network Engineer in Hollywood, FL. Network Design & Maintenance: * Configure and manage LAN/WAN environments, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting * Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) * Implement and manage Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions * Maintain fiber switches and associated infrastructure * Optimize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive upgrades Security & Compliance: * Configure and maintain firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet) * Enforce IT security policies, including access controls and 802.1X authentication * Conduct network security audits and vulnerability assessments Wireless & Cloud Networking: * Manage Cisco Meraki wireless access points * Ensure secure and efficient wireless connectivity * Work with virtualized networking environments (VMware NSX, vCenter) Support & Documentation * Provide technical support and incident response within SLA guidelines * Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides * Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution Telecom Support * Provide technical support for Unified Cisco Call Manager (UCCM, UCaaS) * Proficient in voice and related technology * Troubleshooting circuits and ISP related issues
