Network Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Implement and manage network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.

Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.

Perform regular network assessments and upgrades to maintain optimal performance and security.

Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.

Provide technical support and training to staff on network-related issues.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching.

Experience with network security technologies and practices.

Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
