Job Description
Join our dynamic Network Access & Hybrid Work organization as a Network Operations Engineer, where you will redefine the delivery of our in-building and at-home networks for the entire workforce. You will be part of an agile DevOps and SRE team based in the US, collaborating with peer teams globally to operate and automate network capabilities across wired, wireless, and home/remote/VPN access solutions. Your core responsibilities will involve running and life-cycling our Cisco enterprise network.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and automate network capabilities across wired, wireless, and home/remote/VPN access solutions.Participate in lifecycle management of the Cisco enterprise network.Collaborate with global peer teams to deliver network solutions.Provide on-call support as required.Deliver changes or project work during off-shift or weekends.Travel occasionally for site turn-up or operational work.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.5+ years of relevant work experience.Practical operational experience with networking, including switching, routing, and wireless.Experience with controller- or cloud-managed networks, such as Cisco Catalyst Center and Meraki.CCNA certification and/or DevNet Associate or equivalent.Proficiency in Python.Familiarity with CI/CD, git, pipelines, and modern APIs.Experience in incident and service management.Additional Skills & QualificationsMotivated to work with remote teams from a global organization.Good verbal and written communication skills.Work Environment
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 2-3 days onsite as needed, either in Raleigh or San Jose, with off-shift work during nights or weekends.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
