Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our product network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across all systems.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and maintain product-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Implement and manage network solutions using Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network security policies and procedures.Support network upgrades, migrations, and integration of new technologies.Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto network devices.Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).Solid understanding of network security principles and firewall configurations.Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SNMP-based systems.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsCisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).Experience in aerospace or defense industry environments.Knowledge of SD-WAN, VLANs, and VoIP technologies.Familiarity with scripting for network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible).Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
